The Swiss Cup: Synchronized skating in an international competition

Since it started in 1989, the Swiss Cup for Synchronized Skating has been a highly-successful annual event. To begin with, only Swiss teams took part; then from 1993 onwards more and more teams from various European countries participated.

The Swiss Cup 2012 for Synchronized Skating offers teams from Switzerland and abroad the chance to grade their skills within the framework of a friendly, well-organized competition.
At international level, the Swiss Cup 2012 provides novice teams with a rare opportunity to compete with other novice teams from other countries. In addition, the event encourages synchronized skating among adults, and so adult teams from all countries are also invited.

The promoters of the Swiss Cup 2012, the Swiss Skating Union (SEV) and the Eislaufverein Mittelrheintal (EVM), firmly believe that such competitions further the cause of synchronized skating and lead to the spread of enthusiasm for this sport.

The Eislaufverein Mittelrheintal, which is organizing the Swiss Cup 2012, would be happy to welcome teams from your club, and will do its utmost to ensure that this major event continues to be a rewarding experience.
